2023 Akure North: Akindele Adeniyi picks Nomination form to return to Ondo Assembly

A former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Akindele Adeniyi has obtained nomination and expression of interest forms to represent the people of Akure North constituency again.

Adeniyi while addressing his supporters after purchasing the forms at the party secretariat, said he is in the race to bring meaningful development to his people.

He expressed optimism that the party leadership would provide a level playing field for all the aspirants in the party.

He thanked the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu for assuring party members of his decision to be neutral.

Adeniyi who is a former vice chairman in Akure North local government, said he would use his experience in the legislative arm to ensure that Akure North is well represented.

His words, ” I am optimistic that our party will provide a level playing field for all of us. I spent five and half years in the state House of assembly and I have the needed experience for the task ahead.

“You can see that my people are solidly behind me. They have asked me to represent them again in the state parliament.

“I am not going to disappoint them, I am going to offer them quality representation. I am in the race to add value to the legislative arm of government.

‘I also want to thank our amiable governor for promising to be neutral . He is man of honour and I am confident that he is going to allow free and fair contest”

A House of Assembly Aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Akindele Adeniyi has appreciated the Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and APC Chairman in Ondo State for their decision to create a level playing field for all the aspirants vying for different positions in the state.

Adeniyi said this on Monday in Akure after he obtained nomination and expression of interest forms of the party to contest for the position of Ondo State House of Assembly, as member to represent Akure North.

Adeniyi, who had represented the constituency in the past, said his people enjoyed his representative style and delivery, hence the reason they were begging him to recontest again.

He said he was well equipped to represent his people well and was the most experienced among his fellow aspirants.

“I have served before and they can attest to my capacity and ability and they want me to go again and represent them, I know this terrain very well, I mean legislative duties, I have been there and I know it

“The people of Akure North that form the basis of my constituency knows what I am capable of doing.

“Now we have a listening governor and he is doing everything to make sure that there is a level playing field, that is why am venturing in. And I have asked the leaders in Akure North and they assured me that everybody can contest,” he said.
