2023 Presidency: How PDP can send APC out of Aso Rock —Tambuwal

The former speaker of House of Representatives and PDP Presidential Aspirant, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has declared that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2023 general elections, if the opposition party picks popular and sellable presidential Candidate.

Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, therefore advised the PDP delegates to the national convention to vote for sellable Aspirant that can lead the party to send APC government out of the seat of power (Presidential Aso Rock Villa) and can also turn the country’s situation around

He gave the advice when he met with delegates and leadership of PDP in Ondo State at the party secretariat in Akure, the state capital.

He observed that Ondo State people had been voting for credible candidates and should sustain the tempo in the interest of the country.

Tambuwal who said he was neither too old nor too young to rule Nigeria, explained that despite scarcity of resources, he had been paying Sokoto State workers’ salary as and when due coupled with execution of meaningful projects across the state

The Governor pledged that Ondo state would play central role and there would be devolution of power for better governance if supported by the delegates

Tambuwal admonished Ondo State delegates to vote for a Pan Nigerian aspirant who had been tested and trusted. In addition, he promised to replicate his achievements when he was in the house of representatives.

According to him, Sokoto State was adjudged the best state in Nigeria by the World Bank, when it comes to economic transparency and prudence.

He further promised to be gender sensitive, give women good consideration in his government and empower youth particularly in the area of agriculture.

Speaking on restructuring and devolution of power, he said he’s going to look into the resolution of Confab.

Earlier, the PDP state chairman, Alhaji Fatai Adams said Alhaji Tambuwal remained one of the best governors in the history of the country and deserved the higher position
