27th April 2023

Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON.
Governor, Ondo State

Mr Governor Sir,
I most respectfully write to you Sir being the leader of our Party in Ondo State to kindly call this self acclaimed leader of our Party in Akoko South East, who is power drunk and of no electoral value in his Ward.

Mr. Governor Sir, our Party in Akoko South East LGA has always enjoyed relative peace and cordial working relationship before, during and after the elections. We won convincingly in all the elections, hence there is no court case about all our elections as I write.

The self acclaimed leader of our LGA, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde recently began a baseless witch-hunting in the LGA by holding parallel Ward and LGA meetings in his house in Akungba, where he mandated some of his cabals to suspend the LGA Party Chairman, Hon. Ajayi Johnson with prior Disciplinary action or warning.

Mr. Governor Sir, to avert total breakdown of law and order in our LGA, kindly call the above-mentioned self acclaimed leader of Akoko South East to order.

He cannot continue to deceive the leadership at the State level, that he still enjoys our total support in the LGA. His four years in the House of Representatives was a political disaster to our LGA. He has outlived the support he had before then.

Mr. Governor Sir, let it be on record, HE LOST WOEFULLY in his Unit during the last House of Assembly election in his Ward. Here is a man, who cannot win, if he contest in a free and fair COUNCILORSHIP ELECTION in his Ward.

It is on record, that his latest antics is that he wants to singlehandedly install one of his stooge as Caretaker Chairman in the LGA without carrying other leaders along.

Mr. Governor Sir, a stitch in time saves nine goes the age-long truism. We appeal that you should use your good office to summon the stakeholders in the LGA and hear from us.

Thanks greatly for your leadership role in the affairs of the Party in Ondo State.

God bless you, Mr. Governor.

Yours faithfully,

Ropo Bailey (lukuluku orisa jr)
