Old students of the 1999 set of CAC Grammar School, Akure has given back to their alma mater, by donating a renovated classroom building to the school authorities recently.
Also on the same occasion held on Sunday 16th April, 2023, the Class ’99 of the school under the Association Class ’99 set of CAC Grammar School Akure honoured some members including an Ondo State Magistrate, His Worship Dapo Adebayo to appreciate their services for the growth of the school.
Magistrate Dapo Adebayo, who served as the Chairman Reunion Planning Committee Class ’99 Set, said, “the purpose of donating this (renovated) building to the school is for the association to give back to this school community because the school has impacted them in several ways and the Association made contributions among the members to raise fund to perfect this project .
Magistrate Dapo Adebayo, said the Executive of the association under the leadership of Mr Ebenezer Akinduro, was also appreciated during the ceremony.
“Using this medium to appreciate the Executive of the association under the leadership of Mr Ebenezer Akinduro.
And we return all glory to God for the perfection of the project.
“The Association class 99 set of CAC grammar school Akure promises to do more. We are using this period to promise the school management that we will commence another project in the school soonest,” the Chairman said.
Responding, the Principal of the School, Mrs Adetimehin acknowledged and commended the Association’s huge contributions to the school and hailed their determination to deliver the project.
