Ondo Amotekun Commander Adeleye bags top Security Award

In recognition of his giant efforts to make the state a safe destination, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, Corps Commander, Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun Corps has emerged as the ‘Ondo State Security Man of the Year’ by Hero Magazine International.

This was in recognition of various achievements recorded by the Ondo Amotekun Corps in curbing crimes and insecurity in the state under the leadership of Chief Adeleye.

A statement by the organiser says the event scheduled to hold on Sunday 12 September, 2021 at the DOME will be chaired by Prof. Adesomoju, the Pro Chancellor and chairman Governing council, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.

The statement says the Ondo state governor ,Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is the chief host and Special Guest of Honour while the Royal host is the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi.

According to the statement, the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbode is expected to deliver a lecture titled ‘Economic Recession: Unlocking the potentials of our people for youth empowerment, development and emancipation.’
