Ondo Amotekun nabs Human Trafficker with 100 Victims

…..Arrests 25 Robbers, Kidnappers

The Ondo state security network also known as Amotekun corps has apprehended human trafficker and internet fraudster who allegedly trafficked over one hundred Nigerians to Cotonou in Benin Republic.

Ogunbayo Ayorinde was said to have housed them instead of giving victims the company Job as promised.

The suspect is one of the twenty three suspects arrested for crimes ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery internet frauds and rape.

Parading the suspects before newsmen in Akure, the Amotekun Corps Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said the number was out 75 suspects arrested in recent time.

The Amotekun Commander said the suspected internet fraudsters were arrested for defrauding unsuspecting Nigerians under the pretence of helping them to travel out of the country.

Chief Adeleye said one of the suspected kidnappers, Hammadu Sidi was macheted by his colleagues with an attempt to kill him before his Amotekun men rescued him and was admitted at an intensive care of an undisclosed hospital.

He added that the suspects would be prosecuted while those at large would be fished out by the Amotekun corps.
