Owo Killings: Find permanent solution to insecurity —Ondo UI Alumni tell FG

University of Ibadan Alumni Association, Ondo State Branch

U I Condemn killings in Ondo State.
The University of Ibadan Alumni Association Ondo State Branch commiserate with the Governor, Arakunrin Akeredolu and the Owo community on the heinous killing of the Christians at the catholic church Owaluwa, Owo on Sunday the 5th of June.

It is mostly condemnable and sacrilegious that some criminals will chose the happy mood of the day of Pentecost to kill and maim innocent and joyous worshippers.

The University of Ibadan Alumni Association, Ondo State sympathizes with the bereaved families in Owo in this moment of grief.

The association urged the federal government to find lasting solution to this wanton destruction of lives by the terrorist masquerading as gunmen.

The primary duty of the government is to guarantee security for its citizenry. And this sacred duty should not be sacrificed for any political expediency.

The Patron, Bashorun Sehinde Arogbofa and the entire Ondo State branch of the Alumni prayed that God will console the Catholic faithfuls and the affected families as well as Ondo State people in general.
