A business venture, PRAMOT VEGETABLE OIL, located along Ilesa—Ibadan —Akure expressway, Akure, the Ondo State capital, has been commissioned by Bishop Jude Arogundade of the Catholic Dioceses of Ondo.
While congratulating the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Tony Aburumaku for his foresight in establishing the venture in Akure, the Clergyman implored workers of the venture to put their efforts as the company was starting with them.
Bishop Arogundade who expressed displeasure at the rate at which businesses were collapsing in Nigeria as a result of poor maintenance culture, advised the staff to be diligent and imbibe maintenance culture.
Bishop Arogundade, “the system we run in Nigeria is too corrupt and everybody is looking for a way to cheat the other person and that will kill any business, there are some people who don’t make Nigerians their managers, they prefer to bring people from other parts of the world, which is not good for our system.
“Many economic policies that has been operated in the country, there are very good policies that should have raised our country but because it is being runned by bad people and bad people will always ruin good policies, we need good people to build the nation, we are proud of America because the people are passionate about their country.
“The way out us to begin to love this country, we must have a country, when we love our country and we are working to build our country”.
His words “build it and make it big, you will grow with it, don’t try to bring your boss down or try to kill the business, things are left in your hands and make sure you try to take the business like your own.
The CEO of Pramot Vegetable Oil, Mr Tony Aburumaku, who thanked God for giving him the opportunity to establish such a company in Ondo State, also appreciated his guest for coming to rejoice with him.
Aburumaku noted that the aims and objectives of the company were to create jobs for people, create a better way for business men and women who travel far to get products and the vegetable oil will be sold at cheaper rate than other places and are available in litre by litre; he added that there are vehicles for delivery.
In his words of encouragement, Mr Taiwo Abiodun said that the workers should not think that the organization is being set up because of the CEO and his family. He advised them to work well with the management of the organization.
Also, Mr Taiwo Adebayo who described Aburumaku as a very industrious person, congratulated him for coming from abroad to invest in Nigeria.
Adebayo told the employees that it’s a great opportunity to work with such company and they should not think of bringing the company down, else they will face destruction and go back to the streets.
Mr Ogundele thanked God for his life, his vision and everything he stands for. He also prayed for the growth of the company. While applauding him for his courage to establish a company like this, he advised the company’s employees to uphold the standard of the organization as whatever they sow, they shall reap.
