Ramadan: MHA Aspirant, ‘J.O.T’ greet Akure Muslims

A Member of the House of Assembly Aspirant in Akure South Constituency 1, Oluwatosin Samuel Jimoh, popularly known as J.O.T, on Tuesday sent out a message of unity and support to Muslims ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, which begins on April 2 nationwide.

‘Ramadan is a special month of fasting and prayer. It is also a sacred time for contemplation and compassion, when Muslims are urged to strengthen their focus on providing charity and helping their fellow men and women’.

During the course of this month, Muslims will fast, taking no food or water between dawn and sunset, so that they can better understand the lives and experience of those who are less fortunate than themselves.

J.O.T also implored Muslim ummah to use the period of Ramadan to pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria and wish all faithfuls a rewarding and successful Ramadan.

May Almighty Allah accept our Ibadah.
