BANJI ALABI ESQ. A MAN OF HONOURS.

It is often said that, “who the cap fits, let him wear it” – Banji Alabi ESQ, an apostle of peace and the Chairman, Governing Council of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, has carved a niche for himself in his hometown and environs.

The Kabiyesi Olupenmen, Alayeluwa, Oba Ebenezer Adesanmi Adewumi Ogumolasuyi II and the Olupenmen-in-Council has decided to confer on him and his wife, Mrs. Florence Omolola Banji Alabi, the chieftaincy titles of Bobagunwa and Yeye Bobagunwa of Upenmen land as a royal mark of honor considering their landmark achievements to humanity.

In the annals of composition and performance of Governing Councils in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, the headship of Banji Alabi Esq. of RUGIPO Governing Council has been described by the Visitor to the Institution, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN) as the best since the inception of the Institution.

In the same vein, Banji Alabi, a populist and a highly talented Barrister was also conferred the Asiwaju and Aare Onakakanfo (Field Marshal) of Isuada land.

These chieftaincy titles are for a man and woman of many positive parts, and believed to serve as a source of motivation for the Council Chairman and his wife to join hands with the Kabiyesi Olupenmen in his endeavor to develop Upenmen Land.

The installation as Bobagunwa and Yeye Bobagunwa is holding on Friday, 10th September, 2021 to commemorate the 1st anniversary ceremony of Kabiyesi Olupenmen of Upenmen in Owo local government area of Ondo state.
